- American power is way way way ahead of CCP in many aspects. It's going to be a catchup games for many years. That said America is fighting too many wars while ccp tend to use financial aid and peace deal to assert influence. Definitely not a good look on the us side.

I will be okay if the protocol is small. If none of my user is Chinese and I actively block Chinese IP, I am most likely be okay. But regulatory ambiguity is there and always dangerous inside or outside China. Even Coinbase got into trouble, so..

Because of #1, they used a more pragmatic hybrid approach without scratching it in order to maintain their legitimacy 3. They are not confident it will work else where

depending on the reach of your criticism and size of your audience. If you are a minor celebrity you need to be very careful. For average ppl it's probably okay. That said censorship and account suspension is pretty common. There are plenty of ppl who don't like him post covid

They tend to associate CCP with hard core soviet version communism zealots made of pure evilness. cuz of great leap, culture revolution, 1989 it could be seen that way. But in reality gdp matters more than ideology. Get ppl fed is the only way to maintain their legitimacy which is always challenged by western democracy
