Why Warplet matters 1. Most people don’t have a crypto wallet. 2. On Farcaster, without a wallet, you’re missing a key feature—earning money just by engaging. 3. But if everyone who signs up gets a wallet, money can flow seamlessly through rewards, tips, or airdrops. 4. This means more people with balances, which benefits developers building onchain frames. 5. And when someone taps a frame, they can act onchain instantly.

I haven't been this excited about posting photos since the early IG days. In a previous life I was a professional photography. I'm not sure what will do well on the @zora update (memes vs. art), but I'm going to post some art and see what happens 🤷‍♂️ This was shot in an underwater housing, all while treading water near the break, in San Diego sometime around sunset. These were some of my favorite water sessions and it was always a sacred time for me, as you have to be 100% present. https://zora.co/coin/base:0xcbd554654f98ee8d3d37091b0542a6511280c6b5?referrer=0x25b4e8bc30e656abc236a17ee57d4d07ec6b54d1

Software as content As AI gets better, the specialized knowledge and effort to create software will significantly decrease. This means the number of people (and AIs) creating software will significantly increase. In the same way new computing paradigms with new capabilities popularized new atomic units of content, AI will make software a new atomic unit. And with each new atomic unit, there’s been a new social network. That’s an opportunity for Farcaster.

If you use Gmail as your primary email and work in crypto, worth making sure: 1. You have 2FA via Passkey or Authenticator https://myaccount.google.com/signinoptions/passkeys https://myaccount.google.com/two-step-verification/authenticator 2. You don't have a back up SMS https://myaccount.google.com/signinoptions/rescuephone

EF Treasury has deployed: - 10,000 ETH into Spark - 10,000 ETH into Aave Prime - 20,800 ETH into Aave Core - 4,200 ETH into Compound We're grateful for the entire Ethereum security community that has worked diligently to make Ethereum DeFi secure and usable! More to come, including exploring staking. If you have suggestions or ideas for future deployments, reply in the comments and let us know!

This is a solid demonstration of Railgun's privacy pools mechanism working in practice, allowing Railgun to avoid serving proceeds of crime without using any snooping / backdoors. How it works: * Anyone can deposit into Railgun. * After you deposit, there is a 1 hour period during which various algorithms detect whether or not the deposit likely came from what the algorithms consider to be criminal activity. * If your deposit passes the filter, then after 1 hour you can use ZKPs to withdraw privately (but ideally wait longer to get a good-enough anonymity set). * If your deposit fails the filter, then you can only withdraw back to your own address. There is no risk that your funds will get frozen/seized, you just can't benefit from the privacy pool. If you disagree with Railgun's filters, anyone is free to fork and make their own pool with their own rules, though if you can't get reasonably wide public support you're going to have a tiny anonymity set. https://x.com/officer_cia/status/1889642583971733983

Here’s a good example of unnecessarily negative. There’s valid feedback here—you’re not doing a good enough job highlighting all of the developers in the ecosystem / perception of picking favorites—without resorting to a bunch of drivel. You wouldn’t speak like this to someone you’ve never met in-person, so why do it on the internet?

If you find yourself writing a bullet point list and passing it to GPT to make a "proper" article, it's often better to just give people the bullet points. The GPT adds "wordcel noise" that the reader has to struggle to extract useful info from more than it adds useful context. (As usual, any AI-related advice has a life expectancy of ~6 months)
