I’m more inclined to double check the theories that make me feel safe

if every theory that made us feel unsafe was deemed untrue, we’d still be huddling in caves, trying to harness fire for warmth and protection

This feels like a butchered version of:

“Well, then,” Socrates said, turning on his heel. “If what you want to say is neither true, nor good or kind, nor useful or necessary, please don’t say anything at all.” 

But it's not inconsistent with the idea that truth is best framed with kindness

From reading her timeline it seems this lady is gray tribe. She's not making a statement, but an observation of how our minds work, we have a tendency to believe things that make us feel safe and correct.
