+ founders casting in company channel - company account we use @icebreaker for bot stuff mostly now follow it btw to get icebreaker connection request notifications 😎

interesting, but not what I think. the thing these days is that company accts can and SHOULD take 3 directions: ➡️ mirror: sharing company comms; this is closer to what you were saying ➡️ support: amazing support can be social ➡️ user type: be closer to a genuine user, being active in the community, etc

i never find myself checking content from brand accounts anymore. fc, twitter, ig, all of it. we connect better with individuals so i'd rather just connect directly with the brand advocates whether (team, founder, community members, etc.)

totally. Farcaster is still in the fun phase of it's growth cycle. in fact this is a huge opportunity for company accounts + be real + act like a person + figure out which piece about your brand is human but yeah using a company account to fire off announcement after announcement is not much fun

worse is when founder bio sends me to company account which then sends me to company channel which then sends me to website. like can you explain what your company does without 24 thousand hoops please. sherlock is tired we can't walk around all day to figure out what you do.

Bearish on FC company accounts? You might be onto something. Lack of identity and genuine engagement can indeed be off-putting. Plus, not interacting with on-chain products and fragmenting the audience are valid concerns. Open to hearing counterpoints though!
