I was thinking for noun builders? But maybe contributors are builders?

Yeah probably same. I’m a bit torn on the Fellowship idea. 6 months ago I would have been hugely for. Now I think the current pipeline of nudging contributors to find PMF and build directly fundable things is fine. A fellowship could allow people to spend more time exploring wild ideas, but

It’s probably a mix. Something that I love to see emerging in real time is the pipeline of small grants to committed teams. Fellowships seem like a natural part of the portfolio to me. I also think we need even smaller grants, hackathon style, and a better org alignment approach for the biggest projects (subDAOs?)

Would happily look into this with you - I’ve long felt advocated that a FLOW is needed for all these separate steps in the journey from initiation to idea to build to growth. We’ve modelled this to an extent with small grants then progressing to bigger grants for @ensdomains PG but a better fleshout is still needed

the hard thing here (context is that we had multiple attempts of centralized multisig like small grants) is how to make sure there’s credible neutrality at this layer. like how do we ensure grant giving is aligning with the will of the dao voters in a credible way rather than reflecting just one person’s opinion

Another thing that can help a lot is for the DAO to periodically define priorities for the grants. We have an AI (getharmoni.ca) that was designed for a large group to deliberate and find points of agreement (more effectively than vote or a forum). Something like that could be used to periodically define grant criteria
