Can’t stop thinking about a Nouns Fellowship program

I was thinking for noun builders? But maybe contributors are builders?

Yeah probably same. I’m a bit torn on the Fellowship idea. 6 months ago I would have been hugely for.

Now I think the current pipeline of nudging contributors to find PMF and build directly fundable things is fine. A fellowship could allow people to spend more time exploring wild ideas, but

might also leave people floating around for a while, trying weirdly ambitious things with no great end outcome for Nouns.

If they’re building something with directly value to the ecosystem, they should just propose that and we should fund them generously

It’s probably a mix. Something that I love to see emerging in real time is the pipeline of small grants to committed teams.

Fellowships seem like a natural part of the portfolio to me.

I also think we need even smaller grants, hackathon style, and a better org alignment approach for the biggest projects (subDAOs?)
