I don't know where the quote comes from originally but I love this take: "slow is smooth. Smooth is fast." It's the difference between moving by stumbling in the dark, loud and hurting, or standing still for a while until your eyes adjust so you can move like a ninja.

I think it can be-sometimes! There are seasons we need to sloooow down to get where we set out to go, others picking up the pace is the right move.

I think it can be. Rushing tends to lead to more struggles, more obstacles, more things going wrong, which then delays the process even more.
