Ok, how do we get more people on farcaster? "Better content" is the general response but how do we do that.

farcaster is missing news and the memes are too niche we need journalists and comedians

I don’t come from a twitter background, but from my observation X has wider and frequent engagement on topics. Farcaster segments out like subreddits, but the user commentary is not as deep as Reddit, partially from lack of nesting. So we do neither aspect as well as the web2 parents. Farcaster being a web3 choice also means we are naturally part of a smaller subset of the population. To answer your question, we need communities that are not web3 centric to grow the pie.

question then becomes what does fc have to offer a non-web3 audience 🤔

I’d say main one would probably be decentralization. But that is super tough to market. I wonder if there is anything simpler that other people will find valuable.

need to innovate on the new primitives that farcaster offers to make it more entertaining and engaging than competing networks frames, cast actions, open data, programmable social etc

The relationship of Warpcast on top of farcaster is also an under appreciated asset of farcaster. The ability for composability on top of base protocols is what makes this industry so interesting and productive. How do we communicate that to a larger audience, one that’s not deplatformed, debanked, or degenerate?
