When did you start delegating your work? I’m leading a small team and working towards an MVP for a product that will eventually be initialized as a DAO. While I’ve had some contributions from others, I’ve been handling most of the core work—Solidity dev, frontend, architecture, documentation, finance, you name it. I enjoy the challenge, but I know that transitioning to a DAO structure and scaling effectively will mean bringing others in more formally. For those who’ve been in similar positions: when’s the right time to start expanding the team? How do you balance maintaining control of the product vision with aligning incentives for contributors in a DAO model? Would love to hear your experiences!

/base-builds This week I built the foundation of a DAO I’m working on with some friends. It started with utilizing a DAO launcher, trashing it, and building the governance from scratch. All we have today is a shiny ERC20 and a dream, but damn it’s a good dream.

Spent some time in Playa Del Carmen and Cozumel last week. I had a good time but definitely learned some lessons! 1. Get Pesos ahead of time. 2. Resort drinks are ass, supermarket alcohol is cheap. 3. Knowing Spanish will significantly damper micro-scams. 4. Sunshirts are worth their weight in sunscreen.
