Why are Farcaster builders so optimistic when X, Y, and Z bad things exist? My brother, bad is the default. It’s entropy. Failure is the most likely outcome when building something new. If you’re not a definite optimist, you’ve got no chance in making it happen. Even if you’re a rational person, you have to be willing to suspend belief just enough to make the bet despite all the bad. And then it’s just week of week progress and try not to die (mostly figuratively). For years.

Reminds me of Paul Graham’s Earl work essay. “being slightly overconfident armors you against both other people's skepticism and your own” https://paulgraham.com/early.html

This is a good one! Like it a lot - always recommended to first time founders. It does not mean you have to be a jerk and know-it-all, but you need to be over confident in your idea 💪
