Why are Farcaster builders so optimistic when X, Y, and Z bad things exist? My brother, bad is the default. Itâs entropy. Failure is the most likely outcome when building something new. If youâre not a definite optimist, youâve got no chance in making it happen. Even if youâre a rational person, you have to be willing to suspend belief just enough to make the bet despite all the bad. And then itâs just week of week progress and try not to die (mostly figuratively). For years.

Reminds me of Paul Grahamâs Earl work essay. âbeing slightly overconfident armors you against both other people's skepticism and your ownâ https://paulgraham.com/early.html

This is a good one! Like it a lot - always recommended to first time founders. It does not mean you have to be a jerk and know-it-all, but you need to be over confident in your idea đȘ
