My daughter has a weak eye. Instead of patching (which annoyed her), she wears this newly (?) FDA approved/doc prescribed headset that blurs part of the screen, forcing her weak eye to work harder, strengthening it. 
Pretty amazing.

Exactly. She’s just starting but already a win in my book since she keeps it on (vs trying to rip off the eye patch)

This is one of my favorite VR use cases. It's such a perfect fit for today's HMDs. They can force your eyes to do different things in fun ways.
