Are there any stories of someone using bitcoin to buy drugs or something like that 10+ years ago but then they got locked up and were forced to hold until now and are super rich because of it?

I accidentally wrote the date today as 4/23/2004. When I realized my error it felt like a silly oops. As if 2004 was just the other day. Then it hit me, it’s been 20 years since I wrote that date. 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 Go outside. Call your family. Do fun crazy stuff. Do it all now.

People on X debating if they should buy or rent houses with all their future profits. Here I am wondering how many days in a row I could survive on peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and still be happy. We are not the same. How many days could you last?

I get the theory that some people who hold Bitcoin will want to degen on BTC but I find it hard to imagine loads of people will cont. to trade Runes w/ the fees after everyone complained about eth gas. Things become meta & flashes in the pan on all kinds of narratives. Good luck, have fun, & hope you make $$$, anon!

The fact that I spend as much time here as I do & I still only understand about 17% of what anyone is talking about is hyper bullish. The more random & esoteric niches of the internet we can welcome here the better. I am eagerly awaiting a web3 world that no single person can keep up with just like the internet today.

Memecoin thoughts Runes/BTC are like flying to Vegas for the weekend - access to money & glitz Eth mainnet is a tank of gas to go to a casino 100 miles away. Better to L2 & go to the bowling alley in town. Solana has lots of shiny objects but they are all fleeting. It’s digital poker at a bar downtown w/ the boys.
