Rewarding tokens to people who contribute to an ecosystem rather than extract creates a flywheel of long-term loyal users. And somehow all the fancy tokenomics consultants have not realized this the last few years. Or have knowingly ignored it.

I’ve said it before but it is just a. New paradigm for engagement in social media. Likes and retweets are essentially meaningless. Tips are meaningful. I often find myself having to negotiate who to tip to and why. And it’s fun.
