I've really been enjoying stepping outside of crypto and orienting my life more around the perspective of an artist, musician or fan than someone who's highly crypto native. I'm challenging a lot of my preconceived notions on the space and separating my mental health from the volatility of the market. Crypto will always be at the core of everything I do - but it's important to take a step back and approach it from the POV of someone who's completely new to it and start to attack the problem (of bringing people onchain) from there

Everything will be “crypto” imo just like everything that charges money is technically a finance app so it will all eventually blend into one

100% agreed. I am taking whole weeks off this quarter bc I can't moderate. I am running another cohort of my seminar today and am almost forced to take that novice perspective as an educator. Well said! I think it’s all about keeping the core ideas in perspective: that we’re here to build a better, more sustainable Internet that can help people earn a living in alternative paths, and that we want to do so in a way that removes centralized control from those paths
