How we feeling about the new Warpcast UI?

Me and my thumb scrolling through the /warpcast app today:

nothingburger as far as all the haters.

I suspect that we need to wait for a few weeks to see what unfolds. the action icons are no more inconvenient than the native keyboard.

not a fan, actions are too tight and no “delight” from reactions

imho bad. 
6 UI functions too close together
relevant information is not next to the UI function. 
clicking recast and getting +1 reaction, same as reply or like feels bad

left curve: instinctually make it simple
mid curve: purposely make it complex

Curious what was the reasoning for a sudden UI update here

1. Channels are very underrepresented visually now
2. No likes #
3. Replies are showing separately from the number of replies lol

Why reinvent the wheel? Will get harder for new users to adjust also

feels like this is a setup for something add’l. love the cleanliness, just want a bit less tension between those react icons.

Harder to use
- too many icons to parse
- smaller tap targets
- de-emphasizes feedback

I imagine it will have a short to medium term negative impact on likes, comments, and reshares per post
