tell me something that you did this week that you're appreciative of i ask you one favor: take 20 full seconds to really think about an event, even if it was just for split second, that was out of the ordinary perhaps this will have a ripple affect throughout the rest of your life perhaps it seems completely insignificant what was that event?

This week, I caught up on sleep. I've been off work since last Tuesday recovering from a surgery. I didn't realize how much of a sleep deficit I had. Feels good.

I just casted but today, I thanked a cross walk attendant and brought her a coffee and donut. She was so happy and thanked me for the treat. Not sure how I much did, but it certainly made her smile.

This one’s a little twisted, but I have to give a little background first before I tell you. The programmers at work are getting slammed; ever since the beginning of this year - non-stop work and so many concurrent projects that we can’t keep up. They will pay us overtime, but for all of us it’s more a function of work life balance. Anyway, last night my co-worker and I were both working past midnight trying to catch up a tiny bit. So, I’m appreciative of my co-worker who helped us get some of our deliverables done last night. We’re both burning the candles at both ends; our kids and spouses were asleep and here we were…insanity…have to wait up in 5 hours and I’m frickin’ coding and she’s running system jobs. Craziness, but despite it all, I appreciate my co-worker for being as crazy as I am. 😆

This week, I appreciate a changing perspective. I spent time thinking of the positives that came from everyday activities and even those that looked negative at first glance. Life is built on perspective and I'm fine tuning mine to the positive. ✨️

I remember walking the same road I do everyday and saw a bottle besides it. Thought for a bit, picked it up and carried it till the bin next street. Two days later I realize the two shop owners besides the road saw me, started doing the same and one gave me a drink for free. Love it.
