I strongly prefer cardio (cycling, running) - I get substantially more enjoyment from these and love being outdoors. But weightlifting is more aligned with my goals. So it's often a struggle between the two and for different reasons

that's pretty much what I've settled into, but alas some weekdays I'm in the gym while looking longingly at the sun, craving a short cycle

Then, go out running when sunny and weightlift on rainy days 😉
