I've been using Apple Music instead of Spotify the past few weeks, mainly due to lossless audio. Some thoughts: Pros: - Higher quality audio - Minimal & cleaner UI Cons: - Worse discovery (I loved Spotify daily mixes and genre mixes) Unsure which to continue using :/

I notice the audio difference especially on my HomePod mini stereo pair. I don’t use discovery much tbh. I take recs from people and usually listen to whole albums or discographies even. Apple radio is pretty good too for discover and lets you pull songs right into your library when they’re playing

I've been using Spotify for a while, but decided to give Apple Music a try. I didn't find any solid reasons to stick around, so I'm dropping Apple at the end of the month. Next up, gonna give YouTube Music Premium a shot. I also feel like both Spotify and Apple Music could do better with their UI/UX.

Music discovery/personalized recommendations + network effects for sharing music (e.g. Blends and Jams) keep me around. I’ll sacrifice on sound quality as the overall experience is the highest I’ve found

It's a real shame that Apple dropped the ball on this. I think they threw in the towel once they fell on their face with Ping https://www.theverge.com/2012/10/1/3439168/ping-apple-music-social-network-closed

When using Spotify to stream, there is adjustable audio quality for data rate consumption. Ensure you’re maxed out. May help some depending on your previous settings 🫡

You could use a service to sync your Spotify playlists to Apple Music

I’ve been using Apple Music for years for its audio and UI, but I can’t really compare the discovery with the one on Spotify. Still, I find Apple Music's new release discovery and personalized stations pretty well, though. The only cons for me is that it’s difficult to share playlists with those who use Spotify.

Spotify better for a few reasons: 1) Nice AI for Release Radar, 2) More new music than on Apple, 3)Amazing UI

I fell in love with the radio shows on Apple Music when it started as Beats Radio. Zane Lowe Show exposed me to so much amazing music because I'd listen daily regardless of who's on the cover. Hundreds of artists discovered.
