I really want a ChatGPT-based hardware device I have Google Homes in every room and they frustrate me to no end I may pick up a Rabbit R1 after reading reviews when it's launched

I would wait a year, big tech will start to introduce LLMs into their smart devices which will be a lot more seamless than using a device like Rabbit R1

Same with Alexa. Its functionality has gotten so bad over the past few years. I only use light automation and playing Spotify now. Really hope this new wave of AI creates a better product. 🤞

Rabbit looks neat. Rumour has it Siri is getting a massive overhaul at WWDC. There’s a partnership with Google to add extensibility to web-based queries and a brand new ondevice set of models called ReALM that, in a recent white paper, were more powerful than GPT4 with fewer references

I loath Google Homes. They also frustrate me constantly. Although I doubt Alexa and Siri are any better. I preorder the rabbit r1. I also have the meta Ray-Bans but haven't really tried the AI features yet.

I’d love something like that as well. I’m always concerned with security and privacy when using non-open source software/hardware. Open sources LLMs are on the way

I have defaulted to using ChatGPT voice on my phone over asking Alexa questions at this point for anything other than the weather. Also frustrates me to no end
