I assume there are tons of dynamics around top of funnel that impact people’s familiarity/trust for the product. 

If you’re product isn’t starting with strong word of mouth, probably want to explain value.

WhatsApp does it. Has worked well for them.

Agreed, I trust it about as much as I trust generic web pages - which is to say not a ton, but enough to sway me when I don’t have an easy way to find better info.

Thanks for sharing the link. I read about one deep research but haven’t read any output yet. 

 Very interestingly and broadly cited. I still don’t trust it. 
But I’m excited to try get it to produce the best argument for each side and see how it does

Yeah there’s more flexibility with the WC notification than Apple’s perma-off for sure 👍

i often see that little pre-prompt that looks like the apple one, so if they hit no, you can log it and then run it again in like 2 weeks or whenever you want vs getting locked into the apple off-state
