I have built manh teams in the past. Here are my 2 cents. Successful teams may not build successful products. So defining a successful team needs an assumption that they are on the right product/financial direction. Given that, successful teams are * Accountable to each other * Mostly collaborative but mildly competitive * Respectable to personal and professional limitations.

The best thing that can happen to a team is also the hardest thing to get right as a team. And that is everyone believing in the same mission while grinding real hard to achieve it.
