When Steve and I started orbiter.host, there were two things we wanted to focus on: 1. Playing in a validated market. 2. Using /pinata for all our IPFS needs. We did exactly those things even if point 1 means dealing with heavy competition. I think we have some nice advantages that will grow over time though.

I was walking through the park when I saw a small dog sitting alone on a bench. It had a collar but no owner in sight. I looked around, wondering if someone was nearby. A few minutes later, a man came running, looking worried. He spotted the dog and sighed in relief. "Thank you for staying with him," he said, picking up the little pup. I smiled and nodded. "He looked like he was waiting for someone." The man laughed. "He always wanders off, but he never goes too far." We both chuckled before going our separate ways.

Mark was running late for work when he noticed a woman struggling with a heavy stroller on the stairs. Despite the rush, he stopped to help her carry it to the top. She thanked him with a grateful smile, and he felt a small burst of warmth in his otherwise hectic morning. When he finally arrived at the office, his boss hadnโ€™t even noticed his tardiness. Relieved, Mark sat at his desk, realizing that sometimes, taking a moment for others can make a day feel unexpectedly better.

An underwater city with coral skyscrapers, a ferry transporting fish, and a glowing octopus watching over, lighting the city with its bioluminescent glow.

One rainy afternoon, a woman found herself stuck in a coffee shop, waiting for the downpour to ease. She opened her laptop to get some work done while sipping her favorite latte. As she typed, she noticed an elderly man sitting alone at a nearby table, looking a bit lost. After a moment's hesitation, she decided to approach him and asked if he needed help. The man smiled and explained that he was waiting for his granddaughter, who had gotten caught in the rain. They struck up a conversation, sharing stories about their lives and favorite books. As the rain finally began to lighten, the man's granddaughter arrived, drenched but smiling. The woman waved goodbye, feeling a sense of warmth from the unexpected connection. She left the coffee shop with a lighter heart and a story to remember.

A colleague once shared a story about forgetting their wallet at home. They realized it only after ordering lunch at a cafรฉ. Embarrassed, they explained the situation to the cashier, expecting the worst. To their surprise, the person behind them offered to pay for the meal. Grateful, they accepted and promised to pay it forward. That random act of kindness stayed with them for years.

About every other year I get together with my OG Apple crew, the folks who camped out with my to get iPhones in 2007 because we are huge nerds. Itโ€™s become our friend tradition. I already love the 16 Pro size. The 15 ProMax camera was amazing but I couldnโ€™t type one handed anymore and it barely fit in any of my pockets. So glad I can get the best camera and not have to get an even bigger phone. Tonight we feast and transfer our phones!
