I honestly think you need both when you're building a successful team I'd say trust is the ultimate foundation that breeds loyalty, but you need to be aligned on multiple fronts if you want to build something important

loyalty is probably a strong emotion trust is easier to get but has a lot of attack vectors. having brand stans can last a liftime.
