Nashville

Considering a move to Nashville from Asheville (I know) in October.

Tips, advice, or recs?

i lived in Germantown for a year! i thought it was a good city for what i needed at the time. the vibes are very neighborhood specific, so definitely select for that.

yep - I lived in East Nashville towards the end. Chris is steering you right.
Here are my recs, plus 12 south (couldn't highlight more than 5) and really anything in East within walking/running/cycling distance of Shelby Bottoms:

i think Germantown is a good starter neighborhood if you're trying to acclimate to the more accessible parts of the city, sports, businesses, etc. 

East Nashville and Wedgewood Houston are now better and more sceney places to meet locals

Nice! How would you describe Germantown?

Haven’t done a ton of research but Germantown and East Nashville seem like top contenders neighborhood-wise.
