If someone built a site showcasing Ethereum apps, what would make it actually useful? What could it have that something like Ethereum.org’s use cases section doesn’t?

what you really want, i think, is for people to experience the usefulness rather than read about it imagine you could get an embedded wallet with testnet eth and every showcased app was a frame and people could just use them! firsthand experience buying digital art and tokenized stock, earning yield etc

Stories of people using them: Stories of people living bank-free. Stories of people publishing their work onchain censorship-free. Stories of people running their business using onchain payment rails. Stories of people making a living off their onchain art sales. If the stories don't exist, the apps aren't ready.
