One thing I noticed at EthCC was more girls than at any other crypto conference I've been to, including farcon. Still way more guys (obviously), but for the first time, girls didn't stand out like sore thumbs. It seemed like /shefi is doing a great job onboarding more girls so kudos to them

I didn't mean it literally, it was more of just a metaphor that it usually feels like it's all guys at these conferences

i'm curious as to use of the phrase girls standing out like sore thumbs, that's usually a comment on the people you're applying that descriptor to vs the surrounding people

Crypto is like surfing, very few girls in the line up but we have the most fun 💁🏼‍♀️
