Curious to why you say /politics is right wing.

Since I'm here, ~3. months, /geopolitics was equally open to non-filtered Gaza news as /cryptoleft. I always say web3 is the best hope for all globally suppressed communities, regardless of their positions.

I don't remember the exact post, but while I don't agree with some of the curation decisions in geo, I can't say it's heavily biased. Maybe standard bothsideism during a genocide, but still a lot better than Twitter. Generally I have a feeling /politics mods are more active than the mods of /geopolitics, and /dropglobalnews seems to have taken some of the quality geo content away.

I like sometimes 100 news/daily from Gaza native reporters, knowing I need to rush before the last one is killed. But when I switch my interest to something different, like AI SAFETY news for ONE SINGLE DAY - right away I have literally ZERO Gaza related news on my home feed. Forgotten, nullified, never happened. It is hard to imagine what Musk is willing to do in order to support the mainstream media narrative, while at the same time posing as "free speech fighter". But I don't need to imagine. I see.
