the bold assumption here is that any of us would ever show up to post in a /cryptoright channel showing up in opposing viewpoint channels just to stir the pot "and hear opposing views" is actually more like instigating or being petulant, and the response to this thread just outed you as the only one who wants to do it

Honestly, one of the things I enjoy about Farcaster is there's not the clickbait polarization there is with other places. There's actual discussions across the political spectrum taking place. If I follow someone right-wing on one of the other platforms, I'd be inundated with trolls and shit takes. Here, I get clear viewpoints without the vitriol, and that's how we start to find common ground. So would I be nice? Yes. But also, I really like to debate ;)

Why are we dividing ourselves up into left or right? Can’t we just be crypto? I can’t help but see this whole left/right thing as a massive ‘divide and conquer’ tactic. And it’s working. When you internalize this division, you are not the conqueror. You are the lamb that is being led to be slaughtered.
