summary of my learnings: > buy the grinder and espresso machine separately (if one breaks, you don't have to replace the whole machine) > breville is good entry level but the lower level ones spit water out of the milk steamer since it shares the same water source as the brewing mechanism

All depends on your budget because you can spend 15k on espresso machines :P I have a breville version that does not have a grinder because I have a special espresso grinder. So it depends on how much money you want to spend and which tools you already have. Sorry for the non-answer lol also @drewcoffman.eth might have some good info too!

I bought this 2 months ago and love it. I'm sure some espresso nerds will tell me there is much better ones, but this does everything for me and the coffee is ๐Ÿ”ฅ

I would recommend getting a machine and grinder separately. That way you can upgrade each as needed and if one part breaks you donโ€™t have to replace everything

Yeah, this is a good machine if you want to take nearly all of the complications of making your own espresso away, and just get reliably decent/good espresso every morning

There are levels to coffee as @chasesommer.eth you can easily get up there. I started on a breville and loved it including my wife for how easy it was. But I got a separate grinder and then the rest is history upgraded everything. Either way you will have a blast.

In my experience found the De'Longhi La Specialista as best single unit entry level (has two boilers)

depends on what you wanna make! im strictly an espresso shot drinker so id lean towards the breville bambino since i dont need the bells and whistles (grinder/frother) but if you plan on a different variety of drinks then its a great purchase imo
