We really need a cryptoleftist farcaster client. This network is meant to be used from an opinionated UI. You could emphasize solidarity and organizing features, and give people the possibility to fine-tune their algorithm as they wish. It would be a great place for exploring the possibilities of digital democracy.

I've thought about this .. some issues are, the more leftist you make it, the more of a target for trolls, infiltrators and provocateurs it becomes. I don't think the algorithm stuff would be easy for a person or small underfunded team. Not to mention hosting costs and whatever else. It would be a great thing if we could make it work though (and also get people to use it).

I had this thought the other day after @hijackcapitalism started blowing up on TikTok but was totally ignored on WC. Not totally clear on how a new client would make a difference but I’m intrigued

i like the idea but I don’t understand why would we like it to be an isolated thing. i can’t express how farcaster helped me realise there’s a left crypto community (I did that knew it before) and would like some arguments as of why it is jot a better idea to have it in the main client so more people can reach it
