This convo really does seem to be trending, but it drives me crazy.  Why is the idea of a “dating market” just accepted as truth all of the sudden? Attraction is one of the least predictable aspects of human social behavior, and I see gross reduction like 10-point ranking adopted as if some immutable truth.

Would love to read more on dating market dynamics/equilibria. 

Has dating market literature always been this prevalent or is it just steadily trending upward?

Just curious as it seems like Henderson and others have really popularized some statistics and brought the conversations to mainstream Twitter, etc.
