A future without wallets meaning your devices use WebAuthN and hardware enclaves to provide the signing loop/key management rather than a separate application. Obviously this requires a different signing/execution model than what many networks do, but we built things to embrace this flow from the beginning.

Future without wallets meaning one simply has his public private key pair? And signs with that?

The lab is simulating the conditions in which two parties are agreeing to transact in one step instead of a two phase Transfer->Accept. This is conducted on the network as an MPC interaction where the Coin’s account reference is switched to the recipient, and the PSI lineage blob is updated to include the sender.

Congrats! Love the lab. Could you explain at a high level what happens when I click run on a mutual transfer?

The demo is using bloom filters (potential for false positives, never false negatives), we're investigating alternatives but the problem is more compact PSI over OT is a tradeoff to significantly larger circuits, whereas bloom filters are extremely fast and the intersect comparison is extremely efficient (bitwise AND)

The single most intriguing thing isn’t even no wallet I think it’s combining privacy & compliance.

If you know all the things you consider bad and can verify a transaction history is not bad without knowing the addresses involved you get privacy and compliance

It's a Base58 encoding of a Ed448 public key – the same encoding IPFS uses for CIDs

When creating a wallet and signing, I see what looks like a v0 IPFS CID. However, that CID does not resolve when loaded through the IPFS network. What is it?

Not a side chain at all, Q is a different, fully private E2EE L1 that is non-blockchain. We have a different consensus mechanism, different execution model, and different operational semantics.

just curious, from an etereum dev POV, how we should categorize your system? another sidechain maybe?
