Future without wallets meaning one simply has his public private key pair? And signs with that?

Well it’s not necessarily different. If I understand correctly:

Safari Browser could prompt for my biometrics and from that there is a private key derived. That auth flow could then pass to WebAuthN presented by dApp

A future without wallets meaning your devices use WebAuthN and hardware enclaves to provide the signing loop/key management rather than a separate application. Obviously this requires a different signing/execution model than what many networks do, but we built things to embrace this flow from the beginning.
