I'm sick of my mother-in-law's visits. Every weekend she comes to our house with huge bags of food. They say that her son has completely lost weight with me, you see, I don't cook every day. I asked her to coordinate all the visits. But she said that she was passing by and came to us, what's the big deal. My husband asked me not to fight with her. I'm not fighting, I'm just asking her to coordinate all her visits so we can make plans! #life #life #history #interesting things

The US is entering a period of Fiscal Dominance. Alden said it years ago and it’s just materializing in the last 90 days. Inflation doesn’t matter any more guys. It will be locked in at 2.5% - 4% for the foreseeable future. Trump will weaken the dollar, cheapen energy, and reduce taxes to boost the economy.

Day four: Master and Commander One of the all time heavyweight champions of historical fiction. Bill Bryson calls it his favorite escapist reading. Keith Richards shouts it out at the end of his book Life. There are a bunch of red flags on this book for me: - this book is the first in a series of 20 - it’s a historical seafaring adventure - it was written in the 60s but uses period language - it’s laden with esoteric jargon Given the red flags, I expected a cheap swashbuckling novel hiding its poor writing behind unfamiliar language. But the exact opposite is the case. The whole series is outstanding. The prose is excellent, once you get your head into it. The character development is first rate and continues throughout the series. The stories are subtle and nuanced in a way you’d never expect from historical military fiction. O’Brian is the John Williams of his niche. You’d never mention them in the same breath as confirmed masters like Beethoven or Jane Austen, but we should. Five stars easy

My husband and I have been together for quite a long time, almost 20 years. And we are also childfree (we didn't know that word at the time, we just decided that we didn't want children). Or rather, he was a childfree, and I loved him so much that I decided to share his life position. Youth has passed and the last few years I realize that I wasted my life on someone else's dreams. The realization has come that I will never have children. For health reasons I will not be able to give birth and where to in my old age. I will have to live as it is and regret the missed opportunities. I continue to love my husband, we have an established life, we quarrel rarely, we value each other. But I'm still sorry for the way things turned out. #life #history #interesting

It's true that happiness loves silence. I shared with my girlfriends that I was getting married, that the dream house was prepaid, that we were going on a honeymoon to paradise islands and that I was going for a promotion, the last formal test was left. Well ... test failed, with a passport some problem and it is not issued to the required date, trips burned or postponed, with the house came out problems on the legal part, well, and as a cherry ... Caught his man on the correspondence with another woman. I'm a loser. #life #history #interesting
