I have burr tokens but just came to tell my favorite parent lie cause it might help somebody lie to their children I was probably 5ish, parent didn’t have excessive money. Like paycheck to paycheck but they were doing their best. Ice cream truck rolls around the block and my aunt had introduced me to sugar so I would WAIL for Caaaaandy. Parents told me ice cream truck was auto repair truck that sold car parts. As a stupid 5yo kid I believed them enough to stop the wailing

I’ve got a few Burr FTs already but just to contribute to the list of funny parental lies… My grandfather used to buy a bag of peanut M&Ms and start a competition between me and my sister to see who could take the longest to melt the chocolate in their mouth and take out the unbroken peanut. Didn’t realize for a very long time he was doing that so he could eat most of the M&Ms himself 😀🀣
