🌶️ I’ve known about Oridnals and BTC NFTs since early 2023. I’ve tracked recent developments and volume of activity. But…I just can’t get into it. I find it so uninteresting and redundant despite the supposed innovation. I certainly am not trying to fade or critique. Just doesn’t feel right for me.

New chain, same thing doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to me. Same with Base honestly. All the based versions of past NFTs are just not it.

About the only thing that DOES have allure for me is thinking in my wallet is a few sats that Satoshi himself mined and spent. That would mean something to me.

Well, the whole concept of Ordinals is very novel, interesting and clicked immediately for me. There's great vibes but concentrated in very few projects (similar to Solana eco imo).

The UTXO model is spectacularly ill-suited for NFTs. It gives me headaches. I don't want to deal with it. In fact, I think it's a fundamentally broken design that will eventually cause tons of issues for bitcoin. 1/2

I haven't dipped in at the slightest... though from an outside observer I did get a kick when Udi had folks driving through a carwash to secure a wizard. My thoughts - there is a lot of money and energy invested in BTC. I still don't fully understand the long term security as mining rewards go down. I see ordinals
