What is your best idea for how we can grow the /words channel? If someone suggests something we actually do, I'll give them 250 Warps (up to 3 folks) To be eligible for that just comment & recast, I'll vet stuff tomorrow 🀟

Might be cool to have a prompt every once and awhile that the entire channel could riff on. Maybe we could all host the resulting pieces on our own sites, newsletters, whatever, but we could come together to look at how different writers tackled the same prompt.

Slideshow frame each week with highlights from different pieces that are shared on the channel (with credits to their respective authors).

A pinned "words of the day" & pinned "words of the week" A piece of original writing that's been included in the channel that is received well or engaged with well by the community, so it gets highlighted for a day. best of the week gets held up in the weekly section (or something, could have perl-like voting too)

As always, the best way to grow words is to encourage discussion and seeing how two pieces relate to each other Writers are egotistical, we want to share whatever cool new thing we just wrote but don't really want to spend the time reading what our peers write Maybe discussion rewards of some sort? A comment frame?

Not saying this is the way and I know as a channel lead it’s a bit different than a spectator but /art is one of my go to channels and this is one way I’ve tried to take something speculative like $degen and turn it into supporting a piece by an artist each day. πŸ’™ https://warpcast.com/andremessina/0x91b647d5

this is a great start. πŸ‘ have found in other channels β€” such as /art β€” that pinning casts is a healthy way to highlight contributors to the channel, while curating and promoting the type of content the channel is championing.

Run periodic promotional casts and use the new Fardrop page by @greg to pick a random winner from those that recast the promotion. Winner might get the exclusive NFT of the channel (e.g. the typewriter.) https://warpcast.com/greg/0xd80f23a4

As always a competition is the way. Like in "sing" just say you are giving 10000000degen + 10000btc and 9999999eth to the winner who gets the most <3 with his short post novel
