How do you feel about cross-posting content? If I post stuff the same stuff on Twitter and here, is that lame? I have similar followings, though do sometimes make Farcaster specific stuff Trying to figure out how to be active in both spots (in a sustainable way)

Real answer tho is I have a love hate relationship with it, but these days think it’s totally fine and reasonable to copy/paste across similar platforms Twitter and here are like the most perfect match I’ve ever seen for it LinkedIn is text based but totally different vibe at the same time

I can often tell when something is x-posted, but not always. If it's good and it vibes with whatever context, sure. But I see plenty of users just dump hashtagged content into FC channels thoughtlessly. Obviously not you, but that's my read: can be used well. Is cringe when it isn't.

Best practices are always to format content to the platform. Maybe that's more true for brands vs personal, but still. For eg: twitter hates links, FC doesnt, so that's already a point of friction for xposting.

Cross posting is better unless you want to add friction to followers lives, use something like yup and get it out- if you were a company and your content was a commercial some people would appreciate that you made them something special… to an extent. Mass blast it dude. And…

It’s not lame . Twitter algo hides your content anyways. Majority of following completely missing on it. Nothing wrong with repurposing content. Matter of fact it’s encouraged. With amount of social media platforms, there is no way we should create original content for each daily
