I really like this response! I'd personally say it this way: curating is a creative act. I don't think it should be considered an art because, as you say, this overshadows the actual artists in the exhibition.

That’s a good and tricky question. It depends what kind of art. When curators try to be more artists than the artists, I think it is a mistake. But curating envolves creativity, knowledge and linking the knots in a nice way. In this sense, it is also an art.

When does something become art that wasn’t intended as such.

Is it when it was created in gm it’s utilitarian form, when I presented it differently or when other people starts seeing it as such?
