On the LP side, one recent (yet still tiny) trend has been "interval funds", which allow non-accredited investors to be LPs in a venture fund. The pioneer is probably https://www.sweaterventures.com/ and, more recently, https://ark-ventures.com/.

every venture fund should be looking at Allo Protocol, especially for club goods. also, this is kind of broad, but some computers have 3-5 years of life, & I think throttling between working computation and managing coordination has more significance over time.

I guess ICOs were meant to be disruptive - and for a while, they worked. A lot of great companies were born from ICOs, which then did not need to seek venture funding.

Disruptions in VC come from disruptions in underlying startup ecosystem (new technologies, cost structures, biz models, etc) Eg: Cloud->institutional seed, YC (lower cost to start up) Crypto->crypto-native VC funds (new type of startup) Disruption or actually ZIRP? solo GP, angel list, HF's doing VC, operator funds
