This might sound like a bad take, but I think the best managers or economist are gang leaders. Funny thing is that they don't even graduate business schools but able to run million-dollar empires. Take Pablo Escobar, for example: he was making about $420 million a week and was worth $25 billion, making him one of the richest men ever. He was so rich that he once offered to pay off his country's debt, and on a cold night, he burned $2 million just to keep his daughter warm lol.

It's easy when you bend every law/regulation in the book and can literally kill the competition.

Iโ€™m tired of talking about this with my friends. Youโ€™re not successful because of how much you know. The fundamental skill that will make you rich and great at what you do is taking risks. But itโ€™s like that. Whoever takes more risks (and wins) goes further. In the case of the mentioned person (whom I despise so much that I donโ€™t want to mention him), he took all possible risks and had no scruples. If he had a corporate life, subject to a common life, he would be a nobody. There are many who were like him and fell by the wayside (and itโ€™s good that this happened).
