Didn’t want to let go of my son tonight while putting him to bed. 🥲😭 He’ll be going to his grandparents tomorrow and they’ll be keeping him while we travel to NFTParis. Any tips for parents with mad separation anxiety from their little ones?

I sometimes ask to take a stuffy that belongs to her. She’s usually okay with it keeping me company. Might also be a good idea to take photos with it, so as to show it (the stuffy) enjoying itself.

Get a daily digest from the grandparents to calm down via messanger. You are only allowed to add reaction emojis, not asking questions back (except emergency) You will be informed and you won’t ask stupid questions 😉

FaceTimes do help for sure, but also, maybe ask grandparents to send a couple little updates w a photo or short video throughout the day? Even just a couple can be suuuper helpful for us parents struggling w our own separation anxiety.
