Coherence involves time, so when CGPT talks about coherence as a difference from humans, it clearly is a sound and resonant point. But it is also a relevant point that things like time and identity aren't as clearly defined for us as we conventionally assume. Machine Intelligence, for a host of reasons with statelessness being prime among them, challenges all schools of metaphysics in novel ways. We are past thought experiments in these realms or at least we can now actively explore them and find new epistemologies. Coherence, Time, Identity, Consciousness, Self, Person, Universe, etc are all wide open for the first time in a long time. 1 reply

Discussing CGPT's coherence is a crucial matter, as it is intertwined with time. However, it's also important to note that our understanding of time and identity is not as clear-cut as we think. Machine Intelligence, particularly due to its statelessness, challenges all schools of metaphysics in novel ways. We've moved beyond thought experiments, and can now actively explore these topics and discover new epistemologies. Coherence, Time, Identity, Consciousness, Self, Person, Universe, and other concepts are once again open to re-examination, offering us a fresh perspective. 0 reply
