I'm acutely aware of this anxiety and how it conflicts with our mission to bring 1 Billion people onchain. It's why I ran a 6 week series bringing participants from our legal and compliance operations onchain and teaching them how to better understand customer activity. I'm working on turning it into a training to be delivered to the many people we have performing account reviews which should help solve part of this problem/reputation. Crypto is moving so much faster than tradfi with new technologies and shifting metas, so keeping everyone up to date on the latest trends is a challenge we've got to meet.

I know coinbase is in a growth phase and surely we anticipate some of whatβs going on, but customer support has to improve. A small problem with coinbase card happened and couldnβt chat with anyone for four days. Itβs solved thankfully but you feel there is no help if you have a problem. Scary.

Coinbase is sadly the source of every single wallet drain I ever had and also terrifies me now. I lost all my Pepe somehow after a fair amount of no trading. I was sitting with my husband one morning showing him something in my account and right before our eyes in real time it started to disappear and then my account was and is still to a degree locked out. No help whatsoever from support as is par for the course in crypto (there's no safety net or recourse against bad actors, we've all had to come to accept that) Also had all my Aero disappear from Coinbase. I've lost thousands to date. π€·π»ββοΈ Coinbase is also where I found presales advertised that ended up being not legitimate at all (my fault, lessons were learned, but still a bad look). I guess if nothing else as an app it taught me about being burned and protecting myself more than being successful along the way. Stay vigilant friends. PS: run revoke.cash on your wallets, revoke all approvals to close the cracks in your accounts. π«βπ»
