I'm acutely aware of this anxiety and how it conflicts with our mission to bring 1 Billion people onchain. It's why I ran a 6 week series bringing participants from our legal and compliance operations onchain and teaching them how to better understand customer activity. I'm working on turning it into a training to be delivered to the many people we have performing account reviews which should help solve part of this problem/reputation. Crypto is moving so much faster than tradfi with new technologies and shifting metas, so keeping everyone up to date on the latest trends is a challenge we've got to meet.

I know coinbase is in a growth phase and surely we anticipate some of what’s going on, but customer support has to improve. A small problem with coinbase card happened and couldn’t chat with anyone for four days. It’s solved thankfully but you feel there is no help if you have a problem. Scary.
