How to teach tennis to a 3-yo? Got a basket with a bunch of balls and am just sitting in my backyard throwing him balls for fun. Anyone with experience on exercises to keep him excited and train some technique? Thanks y'all!

Both hematologic and solid tumors. But the model I used to work with the most was pancreatic adenocarcinoma. T cell based therapies are mostly ineffective in this disease due to suppressive cues in the tumor microenvironment and poor immune cell infiltration.

I researched for a decade on cell therapy - ultra focused on optimization of multiple molecular details to make effective therapies. The last weeks in patient care helped me zoom out and see a much bigger picture. Much needs improvement on the bench to bedside journey of drug development.

A big change is coming in January, starting a 7 year training for hematology and oncology. Truly believe the daily contact with patients and therapies will strengthen the research hypothesis I will continue developing in my labs. Time to listen, time to learn, time to help.

It’s also a new learning phase for us as parents. It was tough to let go, but me and my partner got a renewed energy boost to make the most of the slightly less time with them. A bit more “me” time helped be much more creative with ideas for the family activities. Enjoy this next phase! ✨

Panic to rage, to despair, to rage again. After a while he calmed down and devised a plan. Prepared his most ferocious toys next to bed (T-rex and a Squirtle plush) and hid himself with a little torchlight under his blanket. Fell asleep waiting for the pacifier fairy to come 🥲

2yo first night without pacifier - the first hours were just brutal. A part of him was missing and he realised it was not coming back.
