Has anyone been to either the Azores or the Canary Islands? Worth a dedicated trip?

Yup - Azores are worth a dedicated trip. Good to plan visiting several of the islands and having a defined itinerary so that you do not spend too many days on each island. Book a hike to Pico well in advance, and hike in each island - it’s so worth it. Visit the Monte Palace abandoned hotel while you can. Boa viagem!
