I mean, by definition the answer is no - hackatons are development sprints. There are 2 nuances to this: - obviously any designer is welcome to learn / try development and participate - generally speaking though, hackatons are made for creating MVPs / POCs which should be minimally designed The second point is particularly important imho

This makes total sense. I'd like to have a space like hackathons but for products: basically brainstorming, co-design and product creation speedrun. Web3 could benefit from this, we need more user-centric platforms. Maybe it's just buildspace.so

I've to highly disagree. Hackathons are about solving problems, and at the end of the day that's all it matter, how your solution solves the problem, not how it was built.
