Web3 for now is a huge playground. Do you have more design to share? What've you been cooking lately?

Animation galore for this one. Wix proposes a style that matches the hypnotic loop of consumerism. Hypnotic text loops, interactive popups and elements, all to catch attention and keep consumers on the edge. Merging needs and design is what brings success. https://www.wix.com/studio/design/inspiration/textmarquee

Hat's off for the ones finding inspiration in nature We live in a world where most of the time we don't need to invent anything: find the beauty and the balance intrinsic to nature and use it on your creativity!

Just discovered this website that look like a movie cinematic/videogame. Visual and immersion are astounding, but is it really user friendly and does it convey its message? This has become kind of a trend lately, dunno if i like it tho hatom.com

I've recently talked about this in /design I think that creative blocks are a part of what makes our jobs so good. It sucks getting stuck in one, but every time you get out of one you learned something and are close to the end. The rush of dopamine and serotonin derived by it is something incredible IMHO. I don't try to get out of it. I relax, think about some other project, go for a walk, play videogames. Then I come back and try to work on my block. Didn't work? We try again. I just know it's part of the process, and fighting it isn't useful. Accept it, like everything in life, and play along with it!

To Name or Not To Name? This is the Question. When Creativity Mode is activated I just don't. I go with the flow, and I have a mental structure of how my auto layouts work in my Figma files. It's just me navigating my file, let me have my mess. I go about naming for 3 main reasons: 1. Components: I consider them as a finalized part of the project, and I keep them as tidy as possible. Messy components get out of hand so quickly, especially if you need to animate them. 2. Organization: When I'm done ideating, I like to organize my file to have a clear vision of what I'm working on. This involves renaming top layers for clarity and sanity. 3. Delivery: I don't like devs getting crazy after my designs, so I get back to my layer panel and Cmd+R that bish so hard my keyboard hurts. Organized delivery helps me avoid getting back to an already closed project. I also want to add that I 90% don't rename in Illustrator, but I always do in Photoshop and After Effects.

I started as an 11yo by learning GIMP on fanmade forums on my crappy old laptop that needed 5 minutes and a coffee break before starting up. I've never been good at drawing. I didn't know what design was, much less what Product Design was. I just liked to find a good way to make pictures look good. I designed tons of pfps and web banners, trying to understand how blending modes and filters worked, and eventually I was good and I was an official "Graphic Designer" for the 1st italian Pokemon forum community. I then nitpicked my university course and invested a lot to get in, and graduated as an Interaction Designer. By then I knew broadly about Graphic Design, Motion Design, Physical Computing, Product Design, Sound Design, Video Editing and Cinema, Print, I had basic coding skills: I was a Designer. I love having such a large skill toolbox, it helps me analyze the world from different perspective, and not only considering 1 vertical skill. Experiment, learn and design!

Yo this is a feature I could get behind. I use bookmarks mostly to remember about bounties or inspiration, but I'd use the heck out of it if I could label my bookmarks

Hi, I'm darph, your friendly neighbor Italian interaction designer! I discovered Farcaster thanks to @limone.eth in January, and since then I started getting hyped about it myself. I met a lot of cool people and built a lot of things in the past six months, aiming to learn as much as I could about the web3 space in the meantime. I joined in the first degen wave, and it's been my first rodeo through the wild memecoin world: I tried to understand as much as I could and experienced as much as I could. This way I learned A LOT, and it showed in how I approached web3 design. During this time I also built a lot and designed numerous frames, web platforms and apps deeply rooted in the Farcaster ecosystem. I'm super proud to have grown my profile here, I'm loving the forum-like vibes and the positive attitude brought forward!

Creative blocks are so strange. You hate them so much while experiencing them, but when you get out and solve your problems you are kinda thankful to it. It is part of the process. Tell me about your worst one!
